Matthew Fitzgerald*
Regional Vice President – Central Plains

Matt Fitzgerald is a regional vice president at Tortoise, covering the wirehouse, independent, registered investment adviser and bank/trust channels in the Central Plains region of the United States.

Previously, Matt was an employee benefits producer at Power Group, where he was responsible for assisting companies in the design of their employee benefits programs for medical and life insurance, as well as Section 125 plan design. Before joining Power Group, he worked at Sprint as a senior network planner and at IT Network as a market coordinator.

Matt has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an international emphasis from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University (Kansas City, Mo.). He has passed the Series 7 and 66 exams. He also holds Health and Life Insurance Licenses in Kansas. Matt is involved with the United Way of Greater Kansas City and is a member of the United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society.

Matt is married with two daughters and a son, and resides in Leawood, Ks. In his free time he enjoys rooting on the TCU Horned Frogs, K.C. Royals, K.C. Chiefs and Sporting K.C. He also enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, reading, and hacking around the golf course and tennis courts.
